Was I supposed to keep this short?

Born in California, raised in Texas, but I currently live in Philly (don’t ask me how I got here, it’s a long story!)

I’m just a simple gal that has always loved words. Big ones, small ones, funny ones, and slang. I keep a running list of my favorite words in my Notes app. As a child I thought that I’d eventually grow up to become an author, and I’m not saying that’s off the table, but it’s not currently on the table either.

Anyways, I somehow found my way into a copywriting career after college and I haven’t looked back since. A few years after I graduated, I landed what I considered my “dream job” at Free People. Three years after that, I moved onto my current dream job with REI. And in between all of that, I’ve dabbled in freelancing and have absolutely been loving it.

When I’m not writing for work, I’m somewhere writing for fun, watching reality tv, getting outside, crocheting in the park, or spending 3 hours on FaceTime with my sister.
